Always one step ahead  

We know how important it is for the procured timber to be delivered at the right time and at the right price. This task requires professional buying agents and expertise in logistics. Economies of scale are a necessity for transport by ship, train or truck. We have more than 40 years' experience in forwarding and development of freight solutions.

  • Every day, we have up to 100 lorries en route to our customers
  • Every year, we ship more than 500 containers of timber to Asia
  • Every other day on average, we transport a shipload from the Baltic region
It is crucial for us to constantly optimise our transport solutions, as a result of which we are continually developing new logistical strategies. An example of this is a text messaging-based system, which means that we know the supply status of an agreement or a contract every second.

Our logistics organisation is placed centrally at the parent company's head office in Viborg, Denmark, enabling us to achieve the following advantages:
  • Optimum use of ‘back loads’ (return loads) with Danish and German wood throughout the Baltic region
  • Employee competencies are gathered at one location
  • We have an overview of all freights every second from a central location
  • Economies of scale in freight purchases and cooperation with international carriers
